151/365 Well Done!

Congratulation to all that have made it to the end of the fifth month and beyond.  I was really giving 'thumbs up' because of the great job I think I did on the grass, but I thought everyone deserved a 'Big Thumbs Up', so here it is!  (And I know the side of the house and the road are blown out and I've cut off my pinkie but that's just the way it's been going lately.)

128/365 Happy Mother's Day

These are the pink silk roses my Brother placed at the grave of Our Mother and Father today.  Our Father past away 5 months ago today.  Our Mother passed away in 1979. sooc.

127/365 Five Months

My Father died 5 months ago, December the 8th, 2010 (and I just realized this is a day early but I'm going to use it anyway).  This shot didn't come out the way I wanted.  It's difficult to see what I'm try to convey.  This is a shot inside the side door of my van.  The running board, step and the floor board.  The two blue spots helped me to explain to my Father how to get in.  He had dementia and could easily navigate normal stairs however when confronted with this he became confused.  So I place the two blue spots as a guide to help him see where to step as I explained to him what to do.  I sure do miss Him.

This is Jamie.  He works in the maintenance department.  He's worked at the factory about 10 years.

125/365 Wing-Ding

Chased this little guy about 5 minutes.  This is only one of two shot I got of him.  The other was to out of focus to use.  Not sure what happened to his wing but it didn't slow him down at all.  I believe this is a Pearl Crescent.

Infestation of little yellow bugs on my counter.  Probably trying to escape the steady rain we've had all day.  Best I could do, but I do sort of like it.

That is what I believe this to be.  Pouring down rain on the way home.  Wanted a flower for this first shot for May.  Saw these growing right outside of a florist near the cemetery.  Knew I would have to settle for whatever I got, hence the soft focus/blur.  I'll certainly be glad when it stops raining longer than 1 day.  sooc.
