243/365 Our 15th Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 15th Wedding Anniversary.  I had these roses delivered to my Wife where she works.  That was the first time I've done that.  She was surprised for sure.  Congratulations to everyone for completing what was for me the longest month in history! :D

I've found quite a few fallen leaves lately.  Not sure if it is from the stress of no rain for over a month or the first signs of fall.

Power still out.  This is Brandi on duty, guarding the front door.

225/365 Power Cord

Without power since 6pm tonight.  This is the power end of the extension cord connected to the generator.  I like this cord, it illuminates when it has power to it.

224/365 Long Lost Fence

This is the fence that was hidden by two brush piles.  I really like the unusual lighting in this one.  HFF everyone.  sooc.

Some neighborhood kids that have been at the river fishing.

222/365 Recovered Space

This area and another just on the opposite side of the fence had large brush piles.  They were as wide as the bare spot and as high as the fence.  I meant to get a "before" shot but didn't.  Glad to be rid of them.  sooc.

220/365 Eight Months

These are my Father's comb and electric razor.  Everyday, whether we left the house or not I always got him completely dressed, shaved him and combed his hair.  As I was doing these things the thought would come to my mind that someday I would never do them again.  That day came December the 8th, 2010.

Today is my Mother's Birthday.  She died way back in 1979.  This is picture of her circa the 1950's, late I think.  I'm sure this was taken by my Dad using his Polaroid 95b.  I had this pic on the computer and just shot it off of the screen and did a crop and some pp.

Stopped at the community garden and finally got a dragonfly.  He was eating so I was able to get really close.  sooc

213/365 New Lawnmower

I've need a new mower for months now.  Finally broke down and got one.  Really nice, self propelled mulcher.  Strange thing has no primer or throttle.  Started everytime, one pull and nearly drug me around the yard.
